The boxed version of the game will come with the original “Shovel Knight” campaign and the game’s first update “Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows.” There will also be a challenge mode with over 50 levels for those who felt that the original game wasn’t hard enough for them. Yacht Club has also released the details for what will be in the physical version of the company’s ridiculously difficult platformer. U&I Entertainment, the same distributor of “The Walking Dead” by Telltale Games, will distribute these newly boxed versions of “Shovel Knight” for the low price of $19.99. The game’s developer Yacht Club Games, which will now be publishing the game’s physical release as well, made the official announcement, as this is the first time that Yacht Club has published a game for retail release. The physical versions of “Shovel Knight” will come out on October 13 for most of the platforms, while the PC version will come out three days later on October 16, but only for European gamers.
